Introduction to Database Migration
Most applications need to store data in some form of database. Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides several tools to help you migrate your databases, and the applications that use them, to the cloud. You can change their database management system (DBMS) or even their architecture from SQL to NoSQL, as appropriate. It is fairly simple to migrate data from one server to another when both are using the same database engine, known as homogeneous migration. Going to a different engine, or heterogeneous migration, is harder and may require changes in your application. In this course, you will learn about two database tools: AWS Schema Conversion Tool (AWS SCT) and AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS).

Statistics and Data Analysis with Excel, Part 2
This course is meant to be a direct continuation of "Statistics and Data Analysis with Excel, Part 1." Therefore, it is not recommended to take Part 2 unless you've also taken Part 1. Building on the topics learned in Part 1 of the course (probability, probability mass and density functions, the normal and standard normal distributions), this course dives into a more applied side of statistics. Topics in Part 2 include sampling distributions; one-sample hypothesis tests on the mean, variance, and binomial proportion; two-sample hypothesis tests (comparison of means, variances, and binomial proportions of samples drawn from two populations); simple (straight-line) regression; multilinear regression; and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Statistical techniques are taught with the help of Microsoft Excel, which is an intuitive software package that has many built-in functions and tools for statistical analysis. This course is the second course out of three that comprise the specialization "Statistics and Applied Data Analysis." Course 3 ("Statistics and Data Analysis with R") focuses on statistical analysis in the statistical software package RStudio.

Clean Data in SQL using MySQL Workbench
By the end of this project, you will clean up MySQL student data in a MySQL database using SQL commands in MySQL Workbench. MySQL is a widely used relational database. Often data is incorrectly formatted, duplicated and/or lacks the granularity to perform proper analysis of a database. MySQL workbench provides a User Interface to MySQL data that allows the data analyst to Perform queries to check data, repair data, create tables, and insert data to clean up a database. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

On Strategy : What Managers Can Learn from Philosophy - PART 1
In the expression “creative thinking”, the keyword is not creativity; the keyword is thinking. With the help of great philosophers, you will rediscover the art of thinking. To help leaders to be rigorous even without figures, great philosophers have lots of ideas. Managers are invited to rediscover the art of thinking. They should understand the role of mental models, realize the importance of cognitive bias, agree on clear definitions and efficient criteria etc. Creativity demands the ability to unshackle ourselves from conventional ways of thinking, to "think outside the box". But we need to go a step further. Once outside the box, we need to construct a new box or boxes (that is, new intellectual frameworks or models) to help us structure our thinking. Only once we have done so can we generate truly game-changing ideas.

New Technologies for Business Leaders
This introductory course is developed for high level business people (and those on their way) who want a broad understanding of new Information Technologies and understand their potential for business functions (e.g. marketing, supply change management, finance). This is not a course for people looking for guidance on how to become a deep technical expert or implement these technologies. From Blockchain over Artificial Intelligence to Virtual Reality technologies: This course will empower business leaders to embrace the concepts and bring the state of the art information technologies into their organizations to improve client and customer engagement and ultimately the bottom line of their businesses. Instead of digital disruption, the new technologies and management methods will become the foundation of a Digital Transformation journey for better customer relationship management and client satisfaction. The content is structured in a way that promotes discussions on challenges that business management and marketing functions face due to the rise of new technologies such blockchain, cryptocurrencies, internet of things (IoT), virtual, mixed and augmented reality (VR/AR), artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. This course will use case studies to explore frameworks, tools, and strategies that are already proven in the real world and prepare ourselves and our organizations to have the tools needed to succeed in a fast and changing world. This course is not a deep technical curriculum, but based on thousands of hours helping (often C-level) executives to grasp the technologies' potential in their own areas of expertise. This course is available in English.

Construction Finance
This course expands the knowledge of a construction project manager to include an understanding of economics and the mathematics of money, an essential component of every construction project. Topics covered include the time value of money, the definition and calculation of the types of interest rates, and the importance of Cash Flow Diagrams. The course covers these topics in three sections. The first section focuses on the foundation of building the mathematics of money, often referred to as value of money. It also highlights the present value techniques and the internal rate of return from a construction manager point of view. The second section of the course focuses on vertical construction finance and the last part focuses on horizontal construction finance. Under the vertical construction finance, the instructor discusses real estate finance and how that has been done with more in-depth details and gives examples for students to solve with instructions. The last topic, horizontal finance, is divided into two parts. To begin, the instructor introduces vast details about public private partnership. This module highlights around three case studies about PPP projects, which would be an introduction to project financing in horizontal work. After introducing case studies, the instructor demonstrates the risks associated with construction finance. After that, similar to the previous three courses, the course finishes with emphasizing the importance of construction finance.
